Next stop.....hell
Seeing as this is my first post and i do not wish to offend anyone, I should probably explain . My friend and I were talking about our 401k plans (of which I STILL haven't started)...how they work, what's the best way to manage it , and how we are going to live off of them on a tropical island while operating a taco truck . It all made sense. She's Catholic and very interested in art history, specifically religious art and Mexican arts and culture. Around the same time for Christmas she wanted me to paint (something I've never done for anyone; "you went to art school ") her a Guadalupe for her bedroom. The painting took longer than expected because I am not a good paint-ist and was very frightened to screw things up.

The pic is a comp I did in photoshop used for a mixed c.d. cover while the painting was being worked on. (Found sky pic, a pic i took of a taco truck in beautiful industrial Wilmington, and photo shopped titles along with an early version of the painting)
approx. 12"x 9" acrylic on canvas
